Motion graphics
Motion design using AfterEffects, Procreate, Photoshop, and Processing
I am largely self taught in the basics of motion graphics. I’ve taught myself a variety of methods using different programs including AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Procreate. I’ve also used Processing coding software to code a variety of motion graphics.
When I worked on creating promos for Trinity (see full project here: https://zakdesignsthings.com/home/trinity ). I created a set of engaging gifs utilizing a variety of techniques including AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Procreate. I worked to keep each gif unique and eye catching while staying within Trinity brand guidelines.
The following pieces were created using Processing, visual media creation software which utilizes programming in a visual context. These pieces were created with the intent for gallery exhibition in mind.
The idea behind these pieces were tracking single points, randomly dancing or moving with sine waves creating motion.
